About Molly Chapman

Performer/principal teacher/choreographer.

Molly is the Moll of Molls Dolls. Molly has been dancing since the age of 4 and has been teaching dance for over 45 years. She originally started as a highland dancer and transferred to tap. She has constantly evolved her style to suit the ages and has experience with classic and modern styled tap. Her love is tap and she is still tapping in her 60’s and hopes to be tapping for much longer.

A Christchurch based Tap Dance Group, for ladies, offering performance and classes for all.

Our repertoire includes, Musical Theatre Tap, Song & Tap, and tap to some of the 2000’s greatest hits. Molls Dolls dancers range from absolute beginner through to seasoned tappers, but we always guarantee a professional performance.

We are able to perform for corporate functions, community events, Rest Homes and any other performance opportunities. We also offer classes from absolute beginner to seasoned dancer. Molly Chapman also offers classes for all ages.

We are a Masters Games award winning team- having won Gold Medals in the Formation Team and Dance Sport at the last 3 games. We always perform to the highest standard!

“Molls Dolls” are a fun loving dance group, who have one thing in common; the love of tap dance. We thrive to perform to a high standard, but have the most wonderful time doing it. We would be happy to create a routine specific for any need.
